Hey There!

A young girl with long brown hair, wearing a white tank top and blue shorts, crouches on a stone ledge by a pond with lily pads and pink water lilies, surrounded by lush green bushes and trees.

Hi I’m Rachel! Technically Dr. Rachel, PhD if we want to be super formal. I’m a trained mathematician and data scientist turned floral designer here to make your flower dreams come true.

While I spent most of my early career deep in research mathematics and coding projects, flowers have always been my creative outlet and passion from a young age. I have a unique skill set of advanced project management, attention to detail, creative thinking and storytelling. Combining this with an artistic and whimsical floral approach means your events are executed with the most exquisite care and look straight out of your wildest fantasies!

I truly look at floral design as an opportunity to create beautiful and meaningful art that is unique to each and every client. It is an immense joy and privilege to be able to share in such meaningful and special days in people’s lives. My goal is that when you think back to your event, the memory of your flowers live on with a little extra magic.

When I’m not flowering in my home studio, you can usually find me bouldering in Detroit, barefoot in the backyard with my husband tending to our koi fish, cuddled up with a good fantasy book & our two huskies, scream singing karaoke with my friends, or planning a next adventure in northern Michigan. Additionally, I’m very passionate about Detroit and sharing great things about our lovely city. Flowering in and around Detroit is an extra delight in my life!
